4/27 - What a difference a day makes! A day after a tough loss and the Bulldogs put together one of the best games I have seen them play in 3 years. Michael Surdek had one of the finest performances by a lacrosse player that I have ever seen. Surdek was all over the field, faceoff wins, groundball victories and absolutely ripped apart the back of the St. Sebs nets all day. Michael Murray played one of his best games as well, Murray broke out with 3 goals for a hat trick and hopefully he's not looking over his shoulder for #00! The Bulldogs almost let it slip away but with the score 10-8, they broke it open and never looked back. Defense was very solid, couple of mental mistakes but they quickly recovered. Josh Kriesberg played about as good shut down on an attackman as one can play. Another strong performance by goaltender Angus Cusack earning his 2nd victory of the season.
4/26 - The Bulldogs suffered a tough loss to a gritty Roxbury Latin team coached by Pat Ross. The game was controlled by the bulldogs for over 3 quarters and at the 4 minute mark of the 4th the doors fell off. RL rattled off 4 straight unanswered goals to take the lead and put it away. Angus Cusack played tough in goal and kept the score as close as it was.
4/24 -The Bulldogs came out a little sluggish and let a pesky team from Nobles and Greenough hang with them on Tuesday. Michael Surdek and Cj Dullea led the offense, while Josh Kreisberg anchored a very young and fiesty defense.
The real story was Angus Cusack playing his first game in goal, he was a bit shaky to start but calmed down throughout the game and was instrumental in earning his first victory..
We have games tomorrow and Saturday, please come out and support the boys!!
